Hospitality and Tradition Are Part of Our Family

Located at the entrance to Castelrotto, the Wellness Hotel Alpenflora has been run by the Plunger family for over 100 years. Tradition, quality, and the well-being of our guests have been some of our core values ever since and have been passed on to the fourth generation of the family. With great dedication and attention to detail, Paul and Martha Plunger have led the Alpenflora from 1985 to the present day, carefully preserving its character.

Your Hosts: The Plunger Family

Martha and Paul have passed on their love for hospitality to their children. Today, their two sons, Philipp and Felix, also look after the well-being of their guests at the Wellness Hotel Alpenflora.

As a sommelier and wine academic, Philipp advises Alpenflora’s guests on all aspects of wine, takes care of the service, and organizes wine tours for interested guests.

Felix, on the other hand, assists Alpenflora’s guests at the reception and on the phone and takes care of holiday wishes from the office.

From the outside, the Wellness Hotel Alpenflora has changed over the years. Yet, every step in its development has been and continues to be a decision taken as a family, knowing that the Alpenflora will remain the same at its core: a place in the heart of the Dolomites where those seeking peace and relaxation, culinary pleasures, and an active holiday will feel at home.
